Dual Purpose geological machine allowing for the cutting of rock samples on the left, and pre-polishing of thin sections, on the right. The Geotome utilizes a vacuum holding system, for simplified, efficient use. The cutting side can use any diamond disc up to 10" (250mm) in diameter.
The grinding side of the machine allows pre-polishing of up to 4 samples at a time, using a 7" (175mm) diamond head cup wheel with resinoid, metallic or vitrified binder.
