Bend Testing
Simple, qualitative test used to evaluate the ductility and soundness of a material. It is often used as a quality control test for butt-welded joints, having the advantage of simplicity of both test piece and equipment.
Compression Testing
A compression is utilized to determine the effects of a given material while being subjected to crushing forces. Samples are fixtured and compressed and depending on the customer requirements and/or specification being tested to, the deformation at given loads is recorded. Overall compression strength among other features can be determined.
